William Wetsel Middle School recently entered a $15,000 video competition that ends at the end of May and depends upon YOUR HELP! The video that Wetsel staff submitted, “Breaking Down the Four Walls of the Classroom,” highlights how the school’s administration, teachers, and the technology department have collaborated to improve the overall educational experience while instilling critical 21st century skills.
The video specifically highlights how Wetsel is using Google Apps to track student performance, has adopted and implemented project-based learning across all subjects, has built an IT infrastructure that allows for increased access and collaboration, and has created cultural change focused on using technology to improve problem solving, enhance digital literacy, and gain global perspectives.
The $15,000 competition, which is sponsored by CDW-G, selects a winner based on the number of Facebook SHARES each submitted video receives this month. So please share the video and help Wetsel win! In addition to this contest, Wetsel is also competing for a $50,000 grand prize that will be decided later this summer.
