This afternoon, Madison’s Finance Director Tina Cropp was peer-selected and recognized as a top three finalist for Virginia School Finance Director of the Year out of 132 school divisions at the Virginia School Business Officials (VASBO) organization’s annual conference in Williamsburg.
Cropp was nominated and vetted by her peers as one of Virginia’s best.
The Commonwealth’s recognition acknowledges Cropp’s work in Madison as premiere among Virginia’s 132 finance directors.
Virginia is a top-five state for educational excellence that includes many factors including finance. We celebrate Tina Cropp who is now nationally-recognized for financial management and budgetary excellence. Mrs. Cropp is recognized for efficiency and financial acumen above others by her peers. Additionally, Cropp was elected to serve a two-year term on the VASBO Board of Directors.
