The division-wide program began in 2011 as a way for high school seniors to assume the roles of faculty and staff across the division. Students select schools and positions like 3rd grade teacher, middle school assistant principal, high school math teacher, or central office director. The program gives seniors the opportunity to gain experience and insight in what it takes to run a school division. The seniors work with the adults to create lesson plans, learn administrative duties, and understand the role of leadership.
Over half of the class of 2016 is participating this year, and they are excited for the experiences the day will present.
