Wetsel Middle School’s Algebra I students in Jarrod Tanner and Claire Keith’s classes completed a PBL (Project-Based Learning) assignment, which challenged students to work in small groups to create a tutorial video reviewing a skill learned in the 3rd nine weeks. The project was broken down into two parts. Focusing on the skill assigned to them, the groups had to first research a variety of tutorial videos on their topic and reflect on three of the videos. From there, they worked to prepare their own tutorial video to be used in class as review for the Quarter 3 Assessment. This is a great example of students teaching students.
