On Friday, March 25th, two local musicians, Peter Bramley and Whit Whitfield, visited Waverly Yowell Elementary School.  Mr. Bramley and Mr. Whitfield showcased their rare musical instruments, including a 5 string banjo, a hurdy gurdy, a washboard, and even a limber jack.  Students sang and clapped along to familiar tunes such as “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “Three Blind Mice.”  A favorite among students was “Nobody Likes Me (Guess I’ll Go Eat Worms).”  A big thanks goes to Mrs. Brenda Lyddane for organizing this celebration of Music In Our Schools Month!
