Third grade students at Waverly are taking a “trip around the world” to review the math skills they’ve learned this year. At the beginning of the two week review, each student receives his/her passport. Each country visited represents a math skill to be reviewed. When students successfully show their understanding, their passport is stamped and they move on to the next country or skill. Students rotate each twenty minutes. The teachers have created a variety of activities to keep the students engaged. Similar rotations are also being utilized with fourth and fifth grade students.
