MADISON, Va. - On October 25, 2022, Waverly Yowell Elementary School received a new item made of old materials.

Near the gym along the lower loop, a new bench made of recycled plastic was dedicated to the school.

The Madison Garden Club and Woman's Club of Madison gave the bench to the school as a way to show recycling's impact.

The bench was made by Trex Company.
