    Financial Aid Information Night

    The School Counseling Department will be hosting an informational meeting for Senior parents about financial aid on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 6-7pm in the MCHS Library.

    Dr. Karen Hart Bucher, Director of Financial Aid at Shenandoah University, will provide valuable information about the financial aid process and FAFSA.  Did you know you could apply for financial aid for 2018-2019 starting on October 1, 2017? Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to have your FAFSA and financial aid questions answered!

  • PSAT/NMQST

    MCHS will give the PSAT/NMQST on Wednesday, October 11 at 8:30 a.m.  This test is open to any interested junior.  The cost is $16.00.  Sign up now in the counseling office to reserve a test.

  • College Fair

    Orange County High School will host the annual College Fair for Madison, Culpeper and Orange Counties on Thursday, September 14th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Hornet Sports Center. This event is open to all students and parents.

    Interested students can register by doing the following:

    1) Go to https://register.gotocollegefairs.com

    2) Choose Virginia & OCHS as the college fair location

    3) Fill out the registration information

    4) Print the registration barcode and bring it to the college fair.

  • College Application Process/Financial Aid

    The School Counseling Department will be hosting an informational meeting for Senior parents about the college application process on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 6:30pm in the MCHS Auditorium. We will also provide valuable information about financial aid resources.
