    Dr. Karen Hart Bucher, Director of Financial Aid at Shenandoah University, provided valuable information about the financial aid process and FAFSA.  Please join us and Dr. Bucher on Thursday October 3, 2019 for the FAFSA workshop in the MCHS Learning Commons (Media Center/Library) at 6pm for help with this process and to answer any further questions regarding Financial Aid.

  • Career Fair 2019

    Career Fair 2019 at MCHS on October 30th for Madison County HS students! Students will attend by class with their teachers to meet with employers, business leaders and community members in the cafeteria at their designated times. Students should be ready to explore careers, ask questions and even have a resume if they are looking for employment!

    Colleges and Universities will have representatives at MCHS in the coming weeks providing important information for interested students. Please log in to your Naviance account to attend. You MUST register through Naviance to attend college visit sessions. If you need assistance registering through Naviance, please visit the Counseling Office.     MCHS will give the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.

    This test is open to all interested Juniors. The cost is $16.00 and you must register in the Counseling Office to reserve a test.

    The School Counseling Department will be hosting an informational meeting for Senior parents about financial aid on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 6-7pm in the MCHS Library.

    Did you know that you can fill out your FAFSA for the 2019-2020 academic year starting on October 1, 2018? Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to have your FAFSA and financial aid questions answered!
