First Grade Students Take Teamwork Approach to Learning

First grade students in Janice Sekely’s class work collaboratively to determine how objects are heavier or lighter than each other, using a balance scale.  One math standard in first grade is to be able to compare the weight/mass of two objects, using a balance scale.  Students enjoyed the team-work approach to learning!
