MCPS Internet Wi-Fi access is now available in school parking lots at Madison County High School and Waverly Yowell Elementary School to help our community during this period of school closures.

Preschool & Kindergarten Registration Mail-In Option

Due to the health and safety concerns surrounding COVID-19, and in keeping with Governor Northam’s social distancing directives, Madison Primary School will be adjusting Preschool and Kindergarten registration which had been previously scheduled for April 16th and April 23rd. In lieu of on-site registration, MPS will offer a mail-in option for registrants. If you would like to register your child for either Preschool or Kindergarten for the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year, please call the school’s office at (540)948-3781 or email Sharon Johnson, Assistant Principal, at sjohnson@madisonschools.k12.va.us. Please provide your child’s name, your name, address, phone number, email address and the registration packet you desire (Preschool or Kindergarten). The primary school will mail a registration packet to you along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Simply complete the enclosed forms, then drop them in the mail. Upon receipt of your completed packet, MPS will send a confirmation letter to notify you that your child has been successfully registered. We will hold an on-site event once we are able to do so!
