Priority 1:
Promote academic excellence and rigor in the classroom and in extracurricular activities in order to enable and inspire student achievement and lifelong learning.
Priority 2:
To promote the well-being, dignity, and value of everyone and to guarantee a culture conducive to learning for every single child, Madison County Public Schools will strive to ensure every student has access to the necessary resources and learning environment they need at the right moment in their education.
Priority 3:
Enhance Career and Technical Education (CTE) through offering courses and programs that prepare students for post-secondary careers by expanding high-quality work-based learning experiences and certification options within the majority of all CTE courses.
Priority 4:
Create a highly desirable work environment that attracts, develops, and retains a diverse and high-quality staff, focusing on our commitment to meet or exceed the regional average for compensation for all division employees.
Priority 5:
With the focus on safety and accessibility, work toward targeted improvement of MCPS instructional and athletic facilities in collaboration with the Madison County Board of Supervisors, Madison County Parks and Recreation Authority, community members, and potential private donors.
Priority 6:
Promote partnership between students, staff, families, and the community through communication, respect, trust, and transparency while leveraging this partnership to promote strong character education and American citizenship.
